Position Summary
This position is responsible for customer service, reception, promotion, and registration and pre-assessment of clients, data entry, Youth Job Connect, employment programs and coordinating administrative details for the NEW Community Employment Resource Centre in Dryden. This position is responsible for outreach activities as part of the marketing of the NEW services. In addition, this position has specific program support responsibilities for the Youth Job Connect Programs, including providing program support and mentoring, as well as coordinating job readiness training for youth seeking employment opportunities.

  • Experience facilitating workshops. 
  • Experience in employment advisement and referrals.

  • Social media (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Tik Tok, LinkedIn, etc.) and social media scheduling tools
  • Digital meeting platforms (Zoom, Microsoft Teams)
  • MS Office Suite: Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Google Drive (Google Docs, Gmail, OneDrive, Google Sheets)
  • Advanced level knowledge of websites (WordPress) and computer programs
  • Email platforms
  • Online job application systems
  • RI equipment (photocopier, fax, computers, scanner) and put in service calls to appropriate resources when needed
  • Crisis intervention training
